It’s now the last week of April. In a blink of an eye the first quarter of the year is now behind us. Yes, Springtime is here. It is another shift to a new season that is MUCH ANTICIPATED to most of us. This had been a long, extended winter even for us southern California residents just in case you are wondering why I wrote “much anticipated” in capital letters. As a resident in Los Angeles area I have been indulged with the all-time perfect, sunny low 80s weather most of my life. The last winter, therefore, was pretty long and just a bit uncomfortable for me.

I grounded myself and hybernated quite a few times this past winter. In that hybernation process of course, many new dreams, visions, ideas and plans were thought about. Now that the Springtime has come it is indeed time to materialize all the new visions and ideas. As the leaves sprout out of the trees and the flowers bloom we can also grow our ways by manifesting visions, ideas and intentions into reality. I often think that we have lots to learn from the beautiful nature in this sense.

The Spring Season is associated with the Air element. Air element gives out refreshed creative, active energy along with mind and mental activity. Characterized and symbolized by Sunrise it reflects new beginnings and new opportunities to celebrate life.  It is also about clarity and finding truths of who we really are which is somewhat a self-realization process encouraging us to express ourselves to the fullest.

So why is springtime essential to our mental, physical and spiritual growth? Just like the flowers blooming at the moment this is the perfect time for us to evolve. In case you have not noticed there has to be some sort of “new beginnings” or “new opportunities” in your lives right now. Having a new family member or birth of a baby, graduations, changing careers or jobs, restarting the exercise routine that was put on hold, taking on new self-development projects, implementing new goals, manifesting ideas and visions,  announcing discoveries are just few amongst many things I can think about.

Since we are on this topic I would like to share with you personal projects or goals that would fulfill my soul greatly this spring. The first one on my to do list is redecorating our living and dining rooms this weekend. Collaborating with my husband we will paint the rooms with livelier colors (tan and brick red) and add new accent decors such as new fixtures and an intricate Moroccan chandelier in it. The best part of this redecorating process is adding an upright piano in the room. I have been playing piano all my life and unfortunately have neglected it for a few years. Lately I have been feeling that I am not in relaxed mode enough and most likely it is due to the lack of piano-playing therapy.

The second thing I’d like to accomplish within the next couple of weeks is major spring cleaning or “Winter Clutters Removal” as I call it. The next one on the list is completing the 90 days body makeover challenge with our contributor Angelina Handayani by eating right and keeping my exercises consistent. It is always important to get into shape and take care of our health especially since summertime is just now around the corner.  I have many more new thoughts, ideas and visions that I want to manifest in this springtime but above are the top ones on the list that are priority.

On this note I would like to encourage all of us to infuse the air of springtime. Take deep breaths, find your truths, passions, recall your dreams and visions and make them into reality.  Embrace the new opportunities and beginnings. Manifestation is the key word. We grow and evolve just like the trees sprouting new leaves and flowers blooming in nature. Because it is springtime indeed.

About Suzanne Roring Wolozny:

I am a strong believer in living life by creating limitless possibilities. My true passion is living joyful life to the fullest and maximizing all my potentials for myself and the goodness of others. I have so much love for every one of them in a sense that I constantly feel responsible for their wellness.

I choose women empowerment as my strong suit in particular because as a woman, I am aware that we are always in a juggling act. We are fragile but yet we are strong enough to play many roles in lives. Often times these roles make us lose ourselves, decrease our self confidence and prevent us from achieving our dreams or creating our own reality. I believe that every one of us woman has a Goddess or Goddesses in us. “Goddess” in my vocabulary means any characteristic that reflects a woman’s divine soul, divine love and divine beauty for the goodness of herself, others and the whole universe.  I have declared that it is my purpose to live and revive the Goddess of every woman who comes into my life. I hope that by sharing some wisdom, perceptions and ideas we will all gain new insights and live the powerful life full with endless possibilities.  Other things that I enjoy doing in my own time include exercising, dancing (Latin and Bollywood in particular), hiking in nature, being in nature, foreign traveling, socializing, cooking, music, playing piano, kundalini yoga, learning something new (current interest:healing methods), bonding time with close friends (that includes great food and cocktails),  playing with my dog Poco and spending quality time with my husband.  Please visit my blogsite: www.goddessvortex.com.

  • > we are strong enough to play many roles
I think today's world is really about playing multiple roles, while knowing what makes your soul sing, and most importantly, giving your best where you've got your best to give. It's not the easy path, but it's the fruitful path, and I see more folks seeking meaning in their life.
